It was an awful start for Middle Tennessee to the season and they have lost each of the first two games. At the end of the first quarter they were actually up 3-0, but it only went downhill, and they ended up getting blown out.

The biggest issue though, was the lack of the running back. Jekail Middlebrock was the top rusher, and he finished with 12 carries for 27 yards. In this game, they are going to need a better-balanced offensive attack.

He’s going to continue to run wild with his feet, and the Middle Tennessee defense just isn’t going to have an answer. Nevada just has the better quarterback, and his ability with his legs, and his arm will lead the favorite to success. Back Nevada to win this game and cover the spread.
