Brendan Sorsby went 13-25 for 69 yards and one interception, while rushing for 96 yards and two scores. Tawee Walker carried the ball seven times for 53 yards, while Cyrus Allen caught five passes for 41 yards in the loss. The Cincy defense was led by Jake Golday, who recorded 12 tackles, while the defense had three sacks and six tackles for loss. 

Cincinnati didn’t play very well offensively against Nebraska, but they still had a shot to tie or win at the end, before Sorsby made an awful decision with the ball. The Bearcats will need to get the passing game going before conference play starts, but luckily they are playing a much easier opponent here.

Bowling Green vs Cincinnati Prediction 

Cincinnati gave Nebraska a pretty good test to start the season last week, but they have to feel like they let that one slip away. The Bearcats had almost no passing yards in the game, so we should see plenty of passing in this one, as they try to get Sorsby going. The ground game was a plus for Cincinnati and they should control the line of scrimmage in this one. I don’t like how Bowling Green looked against Lafayette and I think this game could get ugly.
