Alabama State vs Troy Prediction
I’ll stick with Troy I suppose. The Trojans barely got by Sam Houston over the weekend, giving up 335 passing yards and 22 first downs along the way. It wasn’t the most explosive offensive outing either, especially on the passing side (165 yards). Still, Troy did bag 177 rush yards and 5.2 yards per play—with zero turnovers.
As for Alabama State, they beat up on Lane in their win last weekend, giving up just 182 yards, 3.0 yards per play and 14 first downs alongside a pair of takeaways. Alabama State had just 128 passing yards, 13 first downs and a tepid 5-of-11 success rate on third-down tries, though. It won’t get any easier this weekend.
