Tennessee Volunteers Betting Preview
Tennessee’s season began on a winning streak versus Chattanooga, NC State, Kent State, and Oklahoma before falling to Arkansas. The Volunteers beat Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi State before another loss to Georgia.
In their game with UTEP over the weekend, the Vols started a bit slowly in the first quarter but eventually bombed in double-digit points in the next pair for a 56-0 shutout win. Nico Iamaleava logged 209 yards with four TDs, and Dylan Sampson led the rush with 77 yards and a score off 11 carries.
Vanderbilt Commodores Betting Preview
Over on the Vanderbilt side, they hit a 5-2 run out of the gate with wins over Virginia Tech, Alcorn State, Alabama, Kentucky, and Ball State. The Commodores would beat Auburn between losses to Texas and South Carolina in the next trio.
Matched up against LSU on Saturday, the Commodores gave up points in every quarter during a close 24-17 loss. Diago Pavia threw for 186 yards and a TD while also leading the rush on 43 yards and another score. Lead receiver Quincy Skinner had 72 yards and a TD off three catches.

Tennessee vs Vanderbilt Prediction
I’ll stay with Tennessee. The Vols are coming off a lopsided win over a struggling UTEP squad, mustering 460 yards (241 rushing), 6.8 yards per play, and 26 first downs in the process. Tennessee gave up just 230 yards (149 passing) on the other side. The 56 points were the Volunteers’ highest total since September 14 (71 versus Kent State) and a nice turnaround after a tough loss to Georgia the week before.
As for Vanderbilt, they posted just 13 first downs and a 2-of-10 rate on third-down tries in their latest loss to LSU. The Commodores have been at 17 or fewer points in three straight games and probably won’t breach that threshold in this one either. The only real question here is the margin of the Volunteers’ victory. I think Tennessee ends the regular season with a bang.
