Nevada Wolf Pack Betting Preview

Over on the Wolf Pack’s side, they fell to SMU 29-24 in their opener then beat Troy 28-26 the next week. Nevada would lose three of the next four games versus Georgia Southern, Minnesota, and San Jose State with a win over Eastern Washington 49-16.

Last weekend versus Oregon State, the Wolf Pack trailed 24-21 going into the fourth quarter and ultimately pulled off a dramatic win 42-37 with 21 points from there. I might try Nevada here. The Wolf Pack did a pretty good job taming a solid Oregon State team over the weekend, notching 353 rush yards, 7.7 yards per play, and 20 first downs. Nevada did give up a ton of yards on defense though (526 total), along with 35 first downs and 12-of-16 on third-down tries. The four interceptions really helped, however.

As for Fresno State, they played a sloppy game against Washington State over the weekend with 12 penalties and two interceptions. Otherwise, the Bulldogs were quite competitive against a good team, though. You could certainly make a good case for Fresno State to bounce back this weekend, but I like Nevada to eke out a cover at home.
