Oklahoma Sooners Betting Preview
Oklahoma got off to a blowout start this year, demolishing Temple 51-3 in their opener. Game two versus Houston was a nail-biter, but the Sooners emerged victorious 16-12. Ditto with game three versus Tulane, a 34-19 win to keep it rolling.
Last weekend versus Tennessee, Oklahoma posted 12 cosmetic points in the final quarter during a 25-15 loss. Michael Hawkins threw for 132 yards and a score while also leading the rush on just 22 yards from 12 carries.

Over on the Auburn side, they managed to go 2-1 over their first three games. The lone loss came versus California in game two, as the Tigers fell 21-14. Otherwise, the wins were pretty sizable. Auburn beat Alabama A&M 7-3-3 and New Mexico 45-19.
Matched up against Arkansas, the Tigers were down 14-7 by the final quarter and ended up losing 24-14. Payton Thorne tossed for 213 yards and a pair of scores. Tops in receiving was KeAndre Lambert-Smith with 156 yards and two TDs from five catches.

Oklahoma vs Auburn Prediction
I’ll go with Oklahoma here but you could make a case either way as both teams are coming off rough offensive performances. The Sooners logged just 222 total yards (186 passing), 3.3 yards per play, 16 first downs, and three turnovers against a good Tennessee team. Oklahoma didn’t play too badly on defense (345 yards allowed) but also benefitted from 10 Vols penalties.
As for Auburn, they ended up with 431 total yards (285 passing) but also had five turnovers and went a tepid 5-of-11 on third-down tries. Auburn has scored 14 points apiece in two of their four games, and a combined 118 in the other pair. It won’t be easy to score on the Sooners though.
Andrew’s Pick Oklahoma Sooners -2.5
