Tulsa Golden Hurricane Betting Preview
Tulsa’s season started off on a great note versus an overwhelmed Northwestern State team. The Hurricane rolled through that one with a 62-28 victory. In game two versus Arkansas State, however, Tulsa ended up falling 28-24 for their first defeat of the season.
Last Saturday the Hurricane took on Oklahoma State. In that one, Tulsa gave up points in every quarter on the way to a 45-10 blowout loss. Kirk Francis threw for 153 yards and an interception. Anthony Watkins led the rush with nine tries for 40 yards.

In game two versus NC State, Louisiana Tech was looking pretty good with a 17-6 halftime lead. The Bulldogs were outscored 24-3 from there, however, losing 30-20 in the end. QB Jack Turner logged 281 yards, one TD, and one pick. Tru Edwards had a nice day with four catches for 148 yards and the score.

Tulsa vs Louisiana Tech Prediction
I’m thinking I'll lean toward Louisiana Tech here. The Bulldogs started out quite well versus NC State in their last outing but imploded after halftime. LA Tech posted 324 total yards (43 rushing) and went 7-of-16 on third downs but also had two turnovers and logged just 12 first downs in the loss.
As for Tulsa, they didn’t look downright horrendous against a very good Oklahoma State team but still lost big. The Hurricane gave up 560 total yards (431 passing) and 24 first downs along the way. Obviously, this will be a much more manageable matchup, but I don’t think Tulsa will quite pull off the cover.
Andrew’s Pick Louisiana Tech Bulldogs -3.5
