The Georgia Bulldogs are 1-0 this season after they defeated Clemson by a score of 34-3 in their first game. Georgia struggled to get the ball in the end zone in the first half, but they still led 6-0 at the break. The Bulldogs scored 14 points in the third quarter and broke the game open with 14 more points in the fourth quarter for the win. Georgia outgained Clemson by a total of 447-189 and forced one turnover in the game. The Bulldogs went 4-11 on third downs and they committed seven penalties. Carson Beck threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns, while Nate Frazier rushed for 83 yards and one score on 11 carries.
Georgia did have some trouble scoring touchdowns in the first half of their game against Clemson, but they flexed their muscle in the second half and blew the Tigers out. This was a very good showing from Georgia and while their offense gets a lot of love, the defense was the star of the show.

Georgia was able to take down a top-25 team last week and they looked very good while doing so, and they will get to beat up on an FCS team here. The Bulldogs will be able to do whatever they want on both sides of the ball, so it really comes down to how long they are going to try before coasting to the win. I think we will see one good half out of Georgia, but then I expect them to play the backups and take their foot off of the gas. This is a huge spread, but I am going to take Tennessee Tech and hope Georgia really doesn’t care about running the score up.
