Elina Svitolina and Karolina Muchova clash in the semifinals of the 2026 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix on Saturday, April 18. Here’s our Elina Svitolina vs Karolina Muchova prediction. This preview will also include an Elina Svitolina vs Karolina Muchova pick.

Elina Svitolina vs Karolina Muchova Preview

Elina Svitolina is coming off another straight sets win in Stuttgart. She defeated World No. 14 Linda Noskova in two tight sets to reach the last four in this tournament for a second time. The match against Noskova took 25 games to decide. Svitolina won the first set in a tiebreak and was the first player to break serve in the second set for a 3-1 lead. Although Noskova briefly restored parity by breaking back when Svitolina served for the match at 5-3, the Ukrainian broke for the match in the 12th game.

In the victory, Svitolina hammered 11 aces and did not commit a single double fault. Svitolina landed 70% of first serves in play and won 71% of first serve points (42/59). Svitolina won 60% of second serve points (15/25) and saved four of five break points in the match. Before this round, Svitolina had beaten Eva Lys 6-1, 6-0. She’s undefeated in her last three matches and has won 23 matches in all competitions this season.

Karolina Muchova earned her first career win over Coco Gauff in the quarterfinals. The crafty Czech is coming off a three-set win over the American that took 30 games to decide. The match lasted two hours and 24 minutes. Muchova won the first set 6-3 thanks to a pair of service breaks. The second set saw a few momentum swings and it was Gauff who held her nerve in the key moments to level the match 7-5.

The final set stayed on serve for only five games before Muchova converted a break point to lead 4-2. The Czech held in each of her next two service games to complete a 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 win. In the victory, Muchova hit 4 aces and 1 double fault. Muchova landed 63% of first serves in play and won 66% of first serve points (41/62). Muchova won 57% of second serve points (21/37) and saved an incredible 12 of 15 break points in the match. This is her first semifinal in Stuttgart. Muchova has won 21 matches this season.

Elina Svitolina vs Karolina Muchova Head-To-Head

Svitolina leads Muchova 3-0 in the head-to-head, with the last of those meetings dating back to the 2025 Miami Open. They have never played on clay.

Elina Svitolina vs Karolina Muchova Prediction

These two players are at the top of their game right now, but I’d give a slight edge to Muchova. The head-to-head doesn’t quite help mentally, but the same was said about Muchova’s 0-6 record against Gauff before the quarterfinals. So, it’s not always an automatic edge for a player with a 100% winning record in the head-to-head. Muchova’s variety is working brilliantly and that backhand slice is helping keep a very low bounce. I’ll take Muchova to flip the script and reach the Stuttgart final.
