Miami Dolphins vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction
Those who have followed me over the years know my handicapping in preseason is all about the quarterback position. The rest of the positions are toss-ups, and you have no idea who is going to play nd for how long. The one constant thing is decent quarterback play and the guys who can put points on the board.
Once we start getting above three points in a preseason game, I usually look the other way. Not a fan of a hook on top of a key number. However, the Dolphins have been the worst team this preseason, and that includes a combined 10 points through 8 quarters. Outside of Willis and Achane, this Miami offense has been a disaster. The Falcons are coming off a terrific showing against the Colts, and this is a revenge spot for Tua Tagovailoa, who was released by the Dolphins in March and often made the scapegoat for the team’s lack of success. I’m not sure Tua is an NFL quarterback anymore, but still. It’s an angle, and that’s something we often don’t have in these exhibitions. Give me the Falcons.
