In this article we will formulate a Seahawks vs Steelers prediction for this NFL game on Sunday, September 14th at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this week 2 matchup.

Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview

The Seattle Seahawks are 0-1 this year after they lost to San Francisco by a score of 17-13 in their first game. Seattle trailed 7-0 after the first quarter, but they did go into halftime up 10-7. The Seahawks took a 13-10 lead in the fourth quarter, but they allowed a touchdown with about 90 seconds left for the loss. Seattle was out gained by a total of 384-230, went 3-10 on third downs, and tied the turnover battle at two in the game. Sam Darnold went 16-23 for 150 yards, while Zach Charbonnet carried the ball 12 times for 47 yards and one score. Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught nine passes for 124 yards, while Cooper Kupp caught two passes for 15 yards in the loss. The Seattle defense was led by Julian Love, who recorded 10 total tackles, while the team had one sack and seven tackles for loss.

Seattle struggled to move the ball in their opening loss, but they had plenty of chances to get the win, before coming up empty. The Seahawks were only 30% on third down conversions in the game and were nearly doubled up in time of possession. On the bright side, the Seattle defense did play well and kept them in the game.

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-0 this season after they defeated the Jets by a score of 34-32 in week one. Pittsburgh trailed 9-7 after the first quarter and 19-17 at the half. The Steelers were down 26-17 heading into the fourth quarter, but they scored 17 points and escaped with the slim victory. Pittsburgh was out gained by a total of 394-271, went 4-10 on third downs, and won the turnover battle by a margin of 1-0. Aaron Rodgers went 22-30 for 244 yards and four touchdowns, while Jaylen Warren carried the ball 11 times for 37 yards. DK Metcalf caught four passes for 83 yards, while Calvin Austin III caught four passes for 70 yards and one score in the game. The Pittsburgh defense was led by Juan Thornhill, who had nine total tackles, while the team had one sack and six tackles for loss in the game.

Pittsburgh allowed nearly 400 total yards on defense, which has to be a huge concern, but the offense did score 34 points to get the win. The Steelers got a very solid performance from Aaron Rodgers, who was able to show that he can still play at a high level. Pittsburgh did struggle to run the ball, which could be an issue, but they don’t really have a clear #1 running back.

Seahawks vs Steelers Prediction

Pittsburgh didn’t play great in their first game, but they were able to get the win, which is all that matters. The Steelers will lean on Rodgers once again in this matchup, but the Seahawks should provide a tougher challenge on defense. Seattle will look to get their offense going, as they were very disappointing last week against the 49ers, but they should find success after Pittsburgh had some trouble last week. We have a low total in this game, but I actually think we will see some scoring. I did not like how the Pittsburgh defense looked last week and I expect Seattle to take advantage. Take the over here.
