The Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders meet Sunday in NFL action at Allegiant Stadium. Here’s a Miami Dolphins vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction. This article will include a Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas Raiders Pick.

Miami Dolphins Betting Preview

The Dolphins haven’t won a playoff game since 2020 and are beginning the Jeff Hafley era. The Dolphins have made the playoffs just three times since the 2009 season.

Malik Willis gets his chance to prove he’s a starting quarterback, as he showed promise as a backup in Green Bay. The Dolphins have a superstar running back in De’Von Achane, but that receiving core looks dookie on paper. I do believe Chris Bell could be a steal of the draft, but good lord, Willis will have to make chicken salad out of… Defensively, Jordyn Brooks is a solid linebacker, and there are good defensive linemen in Chop Robinson and Zach Sieler. However, overall, there’s a reason why the Dolphins are expected to be the worst team in the NFL. This is a roster that has endless dead money and is in a complete rebuild. In Miami, it’s tank for Arch Manning or Jeremiah Smith.

Las Vegas Raiders Betting Preview

The Raiders haven’t made the playoffs since 2021 and have won a combined 7 games in the last 2 seasons. The Raiders begin the Klint Kubiak era.

The Raiders have two quarterbacks: Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, and we’ll see how that goes over the course of the season. Ashton Jeanty’s breakout would help take pressure off both of those guys, while tight end Brock Bowers remains one of the best at his position. Defensively, Maxx Crosby is a stud who can wreck game plans, and additions of linebackers Quay Walker and Nakobe Dean will bolster this side of the ball. This feels like a developmental year with some upside. If Kirk gets hot or Jeanty finds his footing, the Raiders could be a sneaky good team that pushes for 7 or 8 wins. We could cash the Raiders in some juicy underdog spots here and there this season.

Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction

I considered the points with the Dolphins because I don’t believe either of these teams is good. The Bowers injury doesn’t help things for the Raiders. Still, the Raiders should win this game at home, as I just don’t have confidence in the Dolphins’ defense. That secondary is gross. If the Raiders are going to be a sneaky decent team, this is a game they should win. I’ll lay the field goal with Vegas, but there are better options out there on this fine Sunday.
