Philadelphia Eagles Betting Preview
Philly got off to a spotty 2-2 run before their early bye week this year, but it’s been all Ws since then. The Eagles have dispatched the Browns, Giants, Bengals, Jaguars, Cowboys, Commanders, Rams, Ravens, Panthers and Steelers in the last 10 games.
In their matchup with Pittsburgh last weekend, the Eagles held a modest 17-13 edge at halftime. Philadelphia hit a 10-0 run in the second half though, and won 27-13. Jalen Hurts posted 290 passing yards and two scores. AJ Brown was the leading receiver with eight catches for 110 yards and a TD.
Washington Commanders Betting Preview
Over on the Commanders’ side, they beat the Giants, Bengals, Cardinals, Browns, Panthers, Bears, and Giants again in their first nine games. After losses to the Steelers, Eagles, and Cowboys, Washington has since beaten the Titans and Saints.
Coming out of their bye to play the Saints last weekend, the Commanders held a 14-0 edge going into the third quarter. Washington was outscored 19-6 the rest of the way but powered out the 20-19 win in the end. Jayden Daniels threw for 226 yards and two scores while also leading the rush on 66 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders Prediction
I would take a stab at the Commanders here but the line's not quite thick enough. Washington didn’t have the greatest second half in their gutsy road win over the Saints last weekend, but it was good enough for a victory. The Commanders finished with 326 yards and 23 first downs in that one but did play a fairly sloppy game on nine penalties for 84 yards. Washington’s defense has held opponents below 20 points in consecutive games now, but that probably won’t happen here.
These teams last met back on November 14 in a 26-18 home win for the Eagles. Philly has been below 28 points in four of their last five games, but the defense has held opponents below 21 points in six straight. Washington has their work cut out for them here, but I think they’re capable of competing at home. I don't think the Commanders will get close enough to cover, though. Should be a fun matchup at least.
