In this game, Houston needs to get out to a fast start.

I am not too concerned about if Mahomes plays, I like the Texans if he’s in or out. Based on the Texans being favorites right now, clearly Vegas doesn’t believe Mahomes is playing. The Chiefs have just played with fire too much this season, and they are going to struggle here. The Texans are giving up 21.4 points per game and their defense is going to step up in a major way here. The Texans offense will get a big game from CJ Stroud and they are going to end up cruising here. Back the Texans against the spread.
