San Francisco 49ers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction
I’ll stick with the 49ers. San Francisco is coming off a pretty good effort versus a middling Dallas team, exploding in the third quarter to help carry the winning result. The Niners posted 469 total yards (223 rushing) in that one with 7.3 yards per play and a solid 8-of-16 on third downs. Two interceptions and a 4-of-12 effort on third downs defensively paced the victory. San Francisco has hit 30 or more points in three of the last five games—all three of which were wins.
As for Tampa Bay, they were in a position to win Monday’s game after the third quarter but got outscored 20-7 the rest of the way. The offense posted 284 yards (189 passing) and 17 first downs. Defensively the Bucs gave up 384 yards (260 passing) and 28 first downs as the team failed to close. Tampa Bay is in for another tricky matchup this weekend on short rest.
