In this article, we will formulate a Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos prediction for this NFL game on Sunday, September 15th at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this week two matchup.

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-0 this year after they defeated Atlanta by a score of 18-10 in their first game. Pittsburgh kicked a field goal as time expired to cut the deficit to 10-9 at halftime and they were able to outscore Atlanta 9-0 in the second half for the win. The Steelers outgained Atlanta by a total of 270-226, forced three turnovers, and went 8-17 on third down in the game. Justin Fields threw for 156 yards on 17 completions, while Najee Harris rushed for 70 yards on 20 carries.

Pittsburgh was able to sneak away with the win against Atlanta last week, but they failed to score a touchdown, which is a major concern. The Steelers are kings of finding different ways to win a football game, but they have to be worried about their offense heading into this game.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

The Denver Broncos are 0-1 this season after they lost to Seattle by a score of 26-20 in their first game. Denver led 13-9 at halftime but allowed the first 17 points of the second half, which put the game slightly out of reach. The Broncos were outgained by a total of 304-231, turned the ball over three times, and went 5-18 on third down in the loss. Bo Nix threw for 138 yards and two interceptions, while also rushing for 35 yards and one score. Josh Reynolds caught five passes for 45 yards in the game.

Denver did plenty of good things in this game, especially on defense, but their comeback attempt came up just short in the fourth quarter. The Broncos have to like what they see from Bo Nix, but I don’t know if throwing the ball 40 times is what they should be doing with a rookie quarterback.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos Prediction

Pittsburgh was able to start the season with a nice win over Atlanta in week one, but they are still looking for their first touchdown of the season. Denver played decently well in their opener but ultimately lost to Seattle after leading at the half. The Broncos turned the ball over three times in the game, but I thought Bo Nix played well and I think he is going to give them a chance to win this game. Russell Wilson is expected to miss this game as well, but regardless of his status, I am worried about the Pittsburgh offense. I don’t love either quarterback option for the Steelers, so I am not laying a field goal on the road. Take the Broncos with the points.
