The Toronto Raptors have kicked off their campaign in fine style after dominating the lowly Bulls in a 135-92 home win on Wednesday. It was a real balanced scoring effort as Kawhi Leonard, Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley all finished with 23 points while RJ Barrett chipped in with 20 points on eight of 14 shooting. As a team, the Raptors shot 45 percent from the field and 10 of 31 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 43 points in the first quarter to take a 25-point lead into halftime and they never took their foot off the gas to finish with a massive blowout win at home.
Washington Wizards Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards are coming into this contest in similar form after blowing past the new-look Bucks in a 128-116 home win on Wednesday. Anthony Davis led the team with 34 points, 12 rebounds and four assists on 11 of 20 shooting, Trae Young tallied 20 points with 13 assists while Kyshawn George chipped in with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Wizards shot a healthy 52 percent from the field and just six of 28 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and trailed for most of the first half, but they turned it around with 77 points in the second half to run past the Bucks and make it look easy in the end.

The Raptors will be at full strength except for the injured Nate Bittle, while the Wizards are still missing Jamir Watkins, Tristan Vukcevic and AJ Dybantsa. There was plenty of hype surrounding the Raptors once Leonard decided to rejoin the roster and things couldn’t have gone any better for them as they cruised past the lowly Bulls with ease, but the Wizards have already shown that they aren’t the doormats from past season and this looms as a danger game. The Wizards are more than capable of winning this game outright but with the line so short, I am sticking with the more settled Raptors to make it two wins in a row.
