Nets vs Mavericks Prediction
I’ve bashed the Nets all season, as they’re the one team in the NBA that I don’t understand what they’re doing from a roster standpoint. The Nets are just here with no direction. However, the Nets are 6-3 ATS on the season and have covered four straight games. The Mavs are obviously the better team and should be favored, but this is a lot of points. The Mavs are 17th in scoring and 22nd in three-point percentage. The offensive horses just aren’t there to trust with big numbers.
Even though the Mavericks have won 9 of the last 10 games against the Nets, I’m not excited to lay a massive spread with them. I’ll back the Nets for possibly the first time this season as they’ve been a cash cow over the last week. Hopefully the Nets don’t let me down, as I don’t trust this team night to night.
