The Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors duke it out once again at the Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.
Orlando Magic Betting Preview
The Orlando Magic have yet to get going as they have lost three of their first four games overall and they didn’t look good at all in their 129-99 road defeat to the Raptors on Wednesday. Tristan da Silva led the team with 20 points on eight of 10 shooting off the bench, Franz Wagner added 15 points with five assists while Desmond Bane chipped in with 13 points on three of 14 shooting. As a team, the Magic shot just 41 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line and they were worse on the defensive end as they were never in the contest after allowing 69 points in the first half. The Magic finished with a total of 20 turnovers and it was Wagner who was the worst culprit as he turned the ball over seven times.
Toronto Raptors Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been one of the hottest teams in the league with three wins from their first four outings and they will be brimming with confidence after smashing the Magic at home on Wednesday. Scottie Barnes led the team with 28 points, six rebounds and four assists, RJ Barrett added 25 points with nine rebounds and six assists while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 16 points and seven assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 50 percent from the field and 15 of 35 from the 3-point line as they poured in 37 points in the second quarter to take a 15-point lead into halftime, before they went on another push in the third quarter to put the game out of reach early.
Orlando v Toronto Free Prediction
The Magic have ruled out Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Isaac again, while the Raptors are still missing Kawhi Leonard. It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in a row, but even though we will see a better performance from the Magic, I still can’t go past the Raptors who are just so tough to stop when they start forcing turnovers like they did on Wednesday. Barnes and Barrett picked up the scoring slack in the absence of Leonard and the Raptors are proving tough to beat at home. Give me the Raptors to maintain their momentum with another win and cover at home in this one.
