The Line: Betting Odds: Oklahoma City Thunder -11 — Over/Under: 228.5
Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers faced off in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, with the Pacers leading the series 1–0 after a stunning comeback win in Game 1. Tyrese Haliburton’s buzzer-beating shot had lifted Indiana to a 111–110 victory, giving them a crucial road win and momentum heading into Game 2. The Thunder, the best team in the regular season with a 68–14 record, entered the second game as heavy 11-point favorites, determined to bounce back by focusing on key adjustments such as improving interior finishing, reducing turnovers, and re-engaging key players like Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the 2025 MVP, continued to lead the Thunder with elite scoring and playmaking, but the team needed a more balanced effort after faltering late in Game 1. Meanwhile, the Pacers leaned heavily on Haliburton’s poise and Pascal Siakam’s consistency—Siakam averaged over 15 points and 7 rebounds per game during the playoffs and was pivotal once again.

Chet Holmgren Over 14.5 Points
Holmgren is averaging 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while playing 27.4 minutes per night. Offensively, Holmgren shot an efficient 49.0% from the field, including a sharp 37.9% from three-point range, and hit 75.4% of his free throws. His true shooting percentage of 59.9% reflected his elite shot selection and scoring efficiency, especially for a player with a relatively low usage rate of around 12%. In game 1 of this series, he had one of his worst games this postseason only scoring 6 points. Before that game, he logged back to back 20+ point games. If the Thunder want success in this series, they’ll need to get other players involved besides just SGA. This is a spot I want to buy low on a guy like Chet.
Andrew Nembhard Over 11.5 Points
Nembhard is averaging 10.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game, while logging nearly 29 minutes per game. He shot a respectable 45.8% from the field and 29.1% from three-point range. We’ve seen Nembhard step up his game in the postseason and show up in clutch moments when this Pacers team has needed him the most. In game 1, he scored 14 points and has scored 12+ points in 5 of his last 8 games. This line is just too low with how Nembhard has been playing as of late.
Tyrese Haliburton Over 4.5 Rebounds
Haliburton has pulled down 5.9 rebounds per game across 17 playoff games, with 5.6 on the defensive glass and 0.3 on the offensive end. That clip was up notably from his regular season average of 3.5 RPG. In a historic Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Haliburton recorded a 32 pts, 15 AST, 12 REB triple-double, becoming the first player in NBA playoff history with 30+ points, 15+ assists, 10+ rebounds and 0 turnovers. He had a double-digit rebounding performance in game 1 of this series. I’m surprised his rebounding line is set this low.
