Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards have been doing it tough as they've lost 10 of their last 13 games overall, and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting trampled by the Rockets in a 135-112 home defeat last night. Corey Kispert led the team in scoring with 23 points on seven of 10 shooting off the bench, Jonas Valanciunas added 18 points while Jared Butler chipped in with 14 points and five assists. As a team, the Wizards shot 46 percent from the field and 15 of 40 from the 3-point line as they shot out to an early 12-point lead, but it didn't last long at all as the Rockets were always ahead by halftime. The Wizards exploded for 78 points in the second half to make it a blowout. Alexander Sarr had a night to forget as he shot just one of 12 from the field to finish with just two points. The Wizards will take on the Bulls after this game.
Philadelphia 76ers
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have cooled off a bit recently as they've lost three of their past four games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting beaten by the struggling Suns in a 109-99 home defeat on Monday. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 31 points and 10 assists, Kelly Oubre Jr added 26 points with 11 rebounds while Guerschon Yabusele chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, the 76ers shot just 39 percent from the field and 15 of 40 from the 3-point line as they played great defense to restrict the Suns to just 16 points in the first quarter to lead early. However, that defense was nowhere to be seen in the second half where the 76ers allowed 67 points. Paul George had a rough night as he shot just five of 18 from the field to finish with just 13 points while the bench combined for just seven points. The 76ers will play against the Pelicans following this one.

Washington Wizards vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction
The Wizards are still missing a bunch of players including Jordan Poole, Johnny Davis, and Malcolm Brogdon, while the 76ers have ruled out Paul George, Joel Embiid, and KJ Martin already. The Wizards have been struggling since opening night, and they're really doing it tough now with so many key players out injured, while the 76ers have also been hit hard by injury during their current skid. You really couldn't trust either team with too much confidence at the moment, so this is a game I'd rather stay away from. However, if I had to choose, I would rather lean towards the 76ers to get the much-needed win here against a depleted Wizards squad with nothing to play for.
