Germany scored only 57 points while the defense gave up 84 points, and that led to the blowout defeat. They fell behind 22-9, and they couldn’t bounce back.

Belgium is going to be without one of it’s best players for the Olympics, and some other players are going to need to step up. Julie Allemand is playing for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA, but she is dealing with an injury and is missing the Olympics. She has missed the entire season for the Sparks because of the injury. The other WNBA player on the Belgium roster is Julie Vanloo, who is a Washington Mystics guard. Belgium currently has the 4th best odds to win the tournament and if they want to make a point that they have a chance, they are going to dominate this game.

Even without Allemand, Belgium is going to have no issue running up the score here. Germany in the last game scored only 57 points, and I don’t trust their offense here. Belgium is a strong offensive team, and they are going to have no issue running up the score here. Sabally will have a good game here, but the rest of the German offense isn’t going to find a lot of success here. Belgium is going to get out to a fast start, and they are going to cruise to victory here. Back Belgium against the spread.
