I think there’s no denying that the A’s are still playing some of their best baseball of the season during this recent run, but if there’s a spot for Logan Webb to show up and be the ace/stopper of this rotation, it’s here at home, where Webb has pitched better over the course of his entire career. I think this game ends up being no different. I look for the A’s to compete but I think the Giants do more damage against Stripling and salvage a win in game two.
