The Orioles will counter with right-hander Dean Kremer, who is 10–10 with a 4.39 ERA and 136 strikeouts. Kremer has shown resilience throughout the season, though he has been prone to occasional rough outings. In his last start against the Chicago White Sox on September 16, he allowed two earned runs over five innings, earning the win. Both these starts have been trending towards the right direction down the stretch, and they should be able to get us out of the first inning untouched.
