New York Mets vs Miami Marlins Prediction
The Mets' offense is going to come along sooner than later, and we’re going to learn more about the Marlins in this series. While the Marlins deserve credit for winning three of their first four games, the Pirates are a bottom-five team in baseball. The line is accurate, given the gap in talent and expectations. With all of that said, the Mets aren’t hitting the ball well right now, and Quantrill has shown he can be an above-average pitcher. His last two seasons with the Guardians and Rockies weren’t good, but from 2020 to 2022, he looked like a potential all-star.
The Marlins also have three walk-off wins, and when stuff like that happens, it builds the belief of the locker room and can loosen guys up as well. The magic will wear off eventually, but I’ll keep taking a shot at these plus-money prices until it does. Give me the Marlins.
