Cincinnati Reds vs St. Louis Cardinals Prediction
I might try the Cardinals here. Pallante had a rough outing versus the Brewers in his last outing on September 2 however, so he’ll need to return to form here. In that matchup, Pallante gave up five earned over 5.0 innings on five hits and five walks in a loss. In his two starts prior to that, however, Pallante was 1-0 with three earned in 12.2 innings of work.
The Cardinals had a pretty spotty weekend series versus the Mariners, giving up a total of 16 runs in their two losses. St. Louis has been scoring pretty well overall lately, with three or more runs in 12 of their last 14 games. They’ll need a good pitching performance in support Tuesday.
