Philadelphia Phillies Recap
The Philadelphia Phillies come into this one looking to bounce back after starting the series with a 3-1 loss at the hands of the Braves on Tuesday. The loss to start the set wasn’t ideal for a Phillies team looking to build on their series win over the Washington Nationals from this past weekend.

Going into Tuesday, Alec Bohm leads the Phillies with 140 hits including 43 doubles, a .296 batting average and a team-high 85 RBIs while Bryce Harper has 26 home runs with 73 RBIs and Bryson Stott has a team-high 25 stolen bases. Kyle Schwarber has 28 home runs, 78 RBIs and a team-high 143 strikeouts as well this season. Johan Rojas also has 21 stolen bases as well this season.

Atlanta Braves Recap
The Atlanta Braves will try to keep the pressure on after starting the set with their win over the Phils on Tuesday. The win put the Braves in line for a third straight series win after taking out the Angels and Giants over the last week and a half.
Braves Trying To Gain On Phillies Atop NL East
Entering Tuesday’s opener, Marcell Ozuna leads the Braves with 144 hits including 36 home runs and 93 RBIs while Orlando Arcia has 19 doubles and Ozzie Albies has a team-high 28 doubles, logging 93 hits as well this season. - The Braves have covered the run line in four of their last five night games against National League opponents.
Phillies vs. Braves Prediction
I’m on the Phillies here. Aaron Nola isn’t my preferred option in this Phillies rotation, but he’s been more than serviceable for much of the year and I think he can get the job done. He’s been opposite Fried twice this year and it’s actually been Fried that’s struggled a lot more than Nola, and that’s when Fried was at full strength. Fried hasn’t looked right since returning from the IL and I don’t think this is the best matchup for him in all honesty. Give me the Phillies in this one.
