Los Angeles Angels vs New York Yankees Prediction
I might take a value-play stab on the Angels here. Anderson is just 0-2 in his last three starts but he hasn’t been pitching too badly. In that trio combined Anderson has seven earned in 17.2 total frames. As for Stroman, he’s got 12 earned runs in 11.1 innings over his last three starts, going 0-2 in those games.
On Wednesday the Angels posted a pretty tepid offensive effort in the opener and gave up all five runs in the first four innings on defense. In the game two nightcap Los Angeles played a lot better, but six of the eight runs came in one inning. Zach Neto posted six RBI all by himself. It’d be nice to see a more well-rounded line here; LA should have a decent shot, though.
