In that trio combined Anderson has seven earned in 17.2 total frames. As for Stroman, he’s got 12 earned runs in 11.1 innings over his last three starts, going 0-2 in those games.

On Wednesday the Angels posted a pretty tepid offensive effort in the opener and gave up all five runs in the first four innings on defense. In the game two nightcap Los Angeles played a lot better, but six of the eight runs came in one inning. Zach Neto posted six RBI all by himself. It’d be nice to see a more well-rounded line here; LA should have a decent shot, though.
