Pirates vs. Diamondbacks Prediction
I’m on the Pirates here. I know Pittsburgh’s had some issues as of late, but the Pirates are still playing some really solid baseball right now and at this kind of price are a team I still want to get behind. I do have high expectations for the Diamondbacks down the stretch as I do think that Arizona can make a similar run to the one that they made last year that was a key piece of the Diamondbacks making their run to the World Series, but they’re not going to win every game and their form against left-handed pitching has been hit or miss in spots. Marco Gonzales has been pretty good in his brief Pirates tenure so far and all in all, I think the Pirates can get some revenge and even the series up at one win apiece. Give me Pittsburgh.
