-Recent Betting trends and streaks involving Tampa Bay

-Recent Betting trends and streaks involving Minnesota

-Recent betting trends in games played between Tampa Bay and Minnesota

-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for today’s game between the Rays and the Twins.

Twins Swept the A’s

The Twins faced off against the Oakland Athletics over the weekend and they were able to complete the sweep. On Sunday they were able to sweep a doubleheader including winning 7-7 in the second half. Trevor Larnach hit a home run and drove in three RBIs. Royce Lewis continued the hot streak and he hit a home run in each of the games on Sunday. The Twins are averaging 4.64 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.41 runs per game. The offense is ranked 9th in the league while the pitching is ranked 20th. Ryan Jeffers has hit 12 home runs and driven in 36 RBIs so far this season.

Lopez On the Mound

Getting the start for the Twins will be Pablo Lopez who sits with a 6-6 record and an ERA of 5.33. Lopez hasn’t been worth the money yet this season. In his last start against the Rockies he went five innings giving up five hits and two earned runs.

Rays Lost Another Series

The Rays lost another series against the Atlanta Braves over the weekend. On Sunday, though, the offense scored eight runs, and they ended up winning by two. Ben Rotverdt hit a home run and drove in four RBIs. The Rays are averaging 3.88 runs, while their pitching is giving up 4.86 runs per game. The offense is ranked 26th in the league while the pitching is ranked 26th. Isaac Parades has hit 10 home runs and driven in 38 RBIs so far this season. Getting the start for the Rays will be Aaron Civale who sits with a 2-5 record and an ERA of 5.20. In his last start against the Cubs he went 5.2 innings giving up five hits and one run.  The Rays are going to need Civale to be good here.

Tampa Bay Rays vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

There is going to be no issue running up the score here. Civale is coming off a good start but overall he sits with an ERA of 5.20. Lopez sits with an ERA of 5.33 and I don’t trust him to be good here. The Twins offense has been elite as of late led by Royce Lewis and he’s going to have another huge game here. This game is going to be a shootout. Back the over to cash with ease.

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a PickDawgz site consensus.
