Florida State Seminoles Betting Preview
It’s been a rocky run for the Seminoles so far this season. Florida State kicked things off with a nice win over New Mexico State 34-17, but then lost the next pair to SMU and Alabama. The Seminoles were able to get wins over Central Arkansas and Virginia in the next two games but then lost to Louisville. That gives FSU an even 3-3 record in the books so far this year.
In the Louisville game back on October 9, the Seminoles jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter. Florida State was tied 14-14 by halftime though, then gave up a couple more TDs in the third. In the end it was too much for the Seminoles and they lost 44-20. QB Ashton Daniels was 21-of-37 for 209 yards, two touchdowns and a pick during the loss.
Miami Hurricanes Betting Preview
Over on the Miami side, they’ve been rolling along quite nicely so far this year. The Canes took out Stanford and Florida A&M in blowout fashion during their first pair, then got past Wake Forest in a road matchup for game three. Miami rolled right past Central Michigan ahead of another victory versus Clemson. That gives the Hurricanes a nice 5-0 record this year.
In the Clemson matchup back on October 3, the Canes were up by a relatively modest 17-6 margin by halftime. Miami got a TD in the third and eventually powered out the victory 41-13. Quarterback Darian Mensah was 18-of-27 for 227 yards and one TD. Leading the rushing attack was Mark Fletcher on 16 totes for 77 yards and two touchdowns of his own.

FSU vs Miami Prediction
I’ll stay with Miami but the line’s a little too thick to mess with. The Hurricanes didn’t have too many issues with a decent Clemson team in their latest win, posting 419 total yards, 32:29 in time of possession and zero turnovers. Miami gave up 22 first downs, 8-of-18 on third downs and 350 yards defensively along with a couple of takeaways. The Hurricanes have scored 33 or more points in all five games so far this year and should put up another good total here also.
As for Florida State, they posted 362 yards, 22 first downs and 7-of-17 on third downs in their loss to Louisville. FSU gave up 537 yards and 21 first downs on the other side without a takeaway. The Seminoles are generally scoring pretty well this year so we may have a high total in this one.
