The Wildcats also allowed the Jays to shoot 50 percent from the field on the other side. The loss snaps a five-game win streak for Villanova, but they’ve managed 71 or more points in five of those six games.

As for Marquette, they managed a pretty rough 22.7 percent (5-of-22) from 3-point range and 50 percent (9-of-18) from the line in their latest win over Xavier. The 15 turnovers didn’t help, but the Eagles were good on the boards (42-28) and in the paint (38-14). Still, it was a much-needed victory to halt a six-game skid. This will be another tricky matchup, but the home setting is a major plus.
