Creighton also notched a 42-33 rebounding advantage and a 34-28 edge on points in the paint. That gives the Bluejays consecutive wins now, with a combined 182 points scored in that pair.
As for Utah Tech, they shot 51.8 percent from the field with a 32-28 edge on points in the paint in their tight win over Weber State this past weekend. The Trailblazers weren’t so good from the line though (15-of-23 for 65.2 percent) and had a 27-26 rebounding deficit. Utah Tech has scored 77 or more points in four straight games and 80 or more in three straight, but they haven’t taken on competition quite on Creighton’s level for a while.
