Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview
The Aggies lost two of their first four games this year versus Oklahoma State and Central Florida. Texas A&M would then hit a nice 11-1 run over the next dozen outings, though. The Aggies lost to only SMU in overtime on December 7 during that stretch. After a loss to Tennessee, the Aggies took out Texas, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Georgia in the next four, leaving the team at 17-4 overall this year.
In the Georgia matchup back on Saturday the Aggies were ahead 51-41 by the end of the first half. Texas A&M kept it going in the second on a 41-36 advantage and walked away with the eventual win on the road 92-77. Rashaun Agee led the way on 18 points with 15 rebounds and seven assists while both Marcus Hill (three rebounds) and Ali Abdou Dibba (two rebounds) added 15 points each.
Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Preview
Over on the Alabama side, they opened the season on a shaky 3-2 run with losses to Purdue and Gonzaga. The Tide straightened things out with an 8-1 run after that, featuring a lone loss to Arizona. It’s ben a 3-4 stretch since then with losses to Vanderbilt, Texas, Tennessee and Florida for the Crimson Tide. That gives the team a 14-7 record in the books over the first 21 outings.
Matched up against Florida in a road game on Sunday, the Crimson Tide were outscored by 10 points in the first half 46-36. Alabama didn’t end up getting any closer on a 54-41 run the rest of the way and lost 100-77 in the end. Aden Holloway led the team in the losing effort with 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Labaron Philon added 14 points with three assists as well.

Texas A&M vs Alabama Prediction
I’ll take a stab on Alabama but you could argue this one either way. The Tide couldn’t keep pace with Florida in their latest road loss despite shooting a reasonable 43.5 percent from the field. The 51.3 percent shooting allowed on defense didn’t help, nor did the 17 turnovers or the ridiculous 72-26 deficit on points in the paint. Still, Alabama is 3-2 in their last five games with the two losses coming in a close one to Tennessee and on the road to a ranked Florida squad.
As for Texas A&M, they didn’t have too many issues with Georgia in their latest road win thanks to 44.8 percent shooting from the field and 19-of-20 (95 percent) from the line. Texas A&M also had a 44-38 rebounding edge but did cough up 13 turnovers in the victory. The Aggies have won four straight but they’ve given up 68 or more points in each of those. Alabama may be able to power one out here.
