It was an awful loss in the last game for Texas A&M. Them losing wasn’t the worst part, it was the way they did it. The Aggies scored only 54 points against Mississippi State, and they lost by 16 points. They were up by a point at halftime, but in the second half, they were outscored 40-23. Henry Coleman III finished with only two points, and Manny Obaseki didn’t make a point. In this game, they will need a balanced offensive attack to pick up the win. 

During conference play, Texas A&M has a 9-4 record; overall, they have a 20-6 record. The offense has sometimes been inconsistent, but they have leaned on the defense to find success this season. As much as that has been the key, they will need the offense to be better. They can’t expect to score only 54 points and come away with a win against a talented Volunteers offense.

This Tennessee defense is going to get back on the right track here and it will be closer to the 60 points per game that they are giving up. Texas A&M’s defense has also been good this season, but Tennessee is the better defensive team.
