Vanderbilt appears to be suddenly struggling, as it has lost three games in a row. It has been a tough competition, but a loss is still a loss. Two games ago, they lost 81-76 against Tennessee, and in the last game, they lost 82-61 against Kentucky. Against Kentucky, they shot 40 percent from the field, a decent number, but they allowed Kentucky to shoot 58 percent. Devin McGlocktin did have a strong game, putting up 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. 

Vanderbilt still sits with a 17-9 record overall, and they have gone 15-11 against the spread. The Commodores want to push the pace, and they are averaging 79.7 points while their defense is giving up 72.7 points per game. In the last few games, the defense has let them down, and something will need to be improved. Vanderbilt is a slight favorite, and in those situations this season, they have gone 14-1.

As a favorite this season, Vanderbilt has gone 14-1 straight up, and this isn’t going to be a game where that changes. Vanderbilt is averaging 79.7 points per game, and they will cruise here. Back Vanderbilt to cover the spread. The pace by Vanderbilt will also be fast and the over will cash. I like both of these plays a whole lot.
