St. John’s vs Kentucky Prediction
I’ll stick with St. John’s, but you could argue it either way. We should have a pretty fun matchup here. The Red Storm shot 44.8 percent from the field, 45.5 percent (10-of-22) from 3-point range and 17-of-21 (81 percent) from the line in their latest win over DePaul. St. John’s wasn’t overwhelming in the paint (a 30-30 tie) and posted a tepid 14 team assists, though. Still, it was a nice win to keep the streak going and the Storm have now posted 74 or more points in all but one game so far this season (63 in a win over Ole Miss).
As for Kentucky, they didn’t shoot great (37.9 percent) in their win over Indiana. The good news is that the Wildcats posted just three turnovers to the Hoosiers’ 17, and dominated the paint 36-18. All of Kentucky’s losses so far have come to ranked teams; this matchup will be a good barometer as to where each team stands right now. Should be a great game to watch.
