Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview
The Razorbacks kicked off their 2024-25 season on a great run, but they’ve hit the skids over the last trio of outings. Arkansas went a nice 11-2 over their first 13 games, taking losses to only Baylor and Illinois during that time. Otherwise, the Razorbacks took wins versus Lipscomb, Troy, Pacific, Little Rock, Maryland Eastern Shore, Miami, UTSA, Michigan, Central Arkansas, North Carolina A&T, and Oakland in that time. Over the last three matchups, however, the Razorbacks have taken three straight losses. Those have come versus Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Florida in succession, leading to an 11-5 overall record so far this season for Arkansas.
In the Florida matchup over the weekend, the Razorbacks were looking up at a 28-25 deficit on the scoreboard. Arkansas was outscored 43-38 the rest of the way and ended up falling 71-63 in the end. Topping the scorers was Adou Their with 17 points and three rebounds. Boogie Fland added 15 points with four assists and three rebounds, while Jonas Aidoo had 11 points with nine rebounds and two assists. Trevon Brazile added seven points off the bench.
LSU Tigers Betting Preview
Over on the LSU side, they opened up their season on a similarly nice run, but they’ve also had troubles over the last three games. The Tigers kicked things off with an 8-1 stretch with a lone loss to Pittsburgh amid wins over Louisiana-Monroe, Alabama State, Kansas State, Charleston Southern, UCF, Northwestern State, Florida State, and Florida Gulf Coast. Following a loss to SMU, the Tigers beat Stetson, New Orleans, and Mississippi Valley State. Since then it’s been three straight losses however, as LSU has fallen to Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Ole Miss in succession for an 11-5 overall record this season as well.
Matched up against Ole Miss in Saturday’s game the Tigers were within two points at the break 28-26. LSU didn’t end up getting any closer than that, however, getting outscored 49-39 from there for a 77-65 loss in the end. Tops in scoring was Cam Carter with 16 points, four rebounds, two steals, and two assists. Daimion Collins added 14 points with four rebounds and one steal. Jordan Sears came off the bench to provide 10 points with six assists as well.

Arkansas vs LSU Prediction
I’ll stick with Arkansas, but you could call this one either way. It’ll be a fun matchup. The Razorbacks didn’t shoot well (30 percent from the field) in their latest loss to Florida, and they got out-rebounded 49-39 while missing 11 of 35 free throw attempts (68.6 percent). It was Arkansas’ third straight loss—each with fewer than 67 points scored—but it’s worth noting that all three of those defeats came at the hands of ranked squads.
As for LSU, their issue in the Ole Miss loss was turnovers. The Tigers had 17 of those for 23 Rebels points in a 12-point defeat. LSU has given up 77 or more points in three straight games now, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Arkansas’ offense flourish here. The Razorbacks simply have to get that shooting percentage up, though. If they can do that (and not fall too far behind on the glass), Arkansas should be in good shape for a key road matchup on Tuesday.
