AR-Pine Bluff vs Prairie View A&M Prediction
I’ll lean toward Arkansas-Pine Bluff but you could make a case either way. The Golden Lions played well in a road win over Texas Southern over the weekend, hitting 49.1 percent from the field with a 33-30 rebounding edge and 40 points in the paint. ARPB held the Tigers to just 2-of-14 from outside (14.3 percent) and 40.7 percent from the field overall. The Golden Lions are looking pretty good these days with five straight wins. They’ve got 74 or more points in all five of those and 90 or more in four of them.
As for Prairie View, they shot a tepid 41.2 percent from the field with 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the line and a 42-25 rebounding deficit in their one-point win over Mississippi Valley State. The Panthers benefitted from 16 Delta Devils turnovers however, which helped quite a bit. Prairie View has won consecutive games themselves and they’ve scored 69 or more points in 10 straight games.
