Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Preview
Alabama opened up the year on a fairly rocky 3-2 run with losses to Purdue and Gonzaga. The Tide got it together on an 8-1 run after that, featuring a lone loss to Arizona. Afterward came a 3-4 stretch with losses to Vanderbilt, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. Following wins over Texas A&M and Auburn, the Crimson Tide are sitting at 16-7 overall through the first 23 games of the year.
In the Auburn matchup over the weekend, the Tide were down 41-37 going into the second half. Alabama got it going in the remainder of the game on a 59-51 run however, eventually powering out the comeback win 96-92 on the road. Labaron Philon was the leading team scorer with 25 points, six assists and five rebounds in 33 minutes of action on the floor.
Ole Miss Rebels Betting Preview
Over on the Ole Miss side, they opened by winning their first five but then lost four straight to get close to the .500 mark. The Rebels would then hit a 3-3 run with losses to NC State, Oklahoma and Arkansas, then wins over Missouri, Georgia and Mississippi State. Losses to Auburn, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Texas have come since then, giving the team an 11-12 record so far.
Matched up against Texas over the weekend, the Rebels weren’t looking so good in the locker room on a 37-25 deficit. Ole Miss managed a 43-42 run the rest of the way but it wasn’t nearly enough in a 79-68 defeat. Eduardo Klafke was tops on 16 points with six rebounds and three assists while Ilias Kamardine added 11 points with two rebounds and one assist in the losing effort for the Rebels.

Alabama vs Ole Miss Prediction
I’ll stay with Alabama. The Tide didn’t start out so hot in their latest win over Auburn, eventually posting a 30-26 rebounding deficit and 13 turnovers along the way. Alabama did shoot very well though, hitting 54.2 percent from the field with 52.2 percent (12-of-23) from outside and 87 percent (20-of-23) from the line. That gives the Tide a 5-2 run over their last seven games, and a combined 196 points in consecutive wins over the last pair.
As for Ole Miss, they shot just 40.7 percent from the field in their loss to Texas last weekend while giving up 52.9 percent on defense. The Rebels were outscored in the paint 32-16 and out-rebounded 33-25 as well. Ole Miss has lost five straight games now, but to be fair four of those came in road matchups. The Rebels will get back home for this one, however it’s going to be another tough game.
