I’ll lean toward Belmont, but you could obviously make a case either way. The Bruins shot an excellent 52 percent from the field in their overtime win over Illinois State but also gave up 53.2 percent shooting on the other side and got out-rebounded 37-32. That said, Belmont has scored 74 or more points in all but one game this year (63 in a loss to LMU).

As for Middle Tennessee, they’re coming off a cupcake matchup against Rhodes and will see the competition click upward a few notches here. The Raiders have scored 76 or more points in all seven wins so far; they’ve been below 70 in both losses. I like this one to be a fairly high total with Belmont powering out the tight cover/win in the end. Should be a fun matchup to watch.
