I’m going to stay with Virginia. Probably not touching it, though. The Cavaliers have had two very difficult matchups in the last pair but should excel in this one. In their latest outing versus St. John’s, Virginia shot a tepid 40 percent from the field with 16 turnovers and a 34-26 deficit in rebounding (11-6 offensive). The Cavs have a combined 97 points in their two losses but they’ve hit 62 or more in their three wins.

As for Manhattan, they’ve scored quite well this year with 78 or more points in four straight. The Jaspers were only able to hang 49 points on Maryland (a 30-point loss) however, and they’re in for another low-scoring game here. Virginia’s defense should thrive in this home matchup, and I like the Cavs to pull off the cover. That said, there’s not a lot of wiggle room in Virginia’s generally low-scoring games. Proceed with caution here.
