Eric Dixon was the top player against NJIT putting up 22 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. There were five different players that put up at least 11 points. In the game they lost, the defense was awful, and the defense can’t be terrible again, or this is going to be a long game.

Saint Joseph’s Looks to Bounce Back

In the first game of the season, Saint Joseph’s faced off against Navy and they were able to secure the 70-63 victory. In the last game though it wasn’t as good though as they lost to Central Connecticut 73-67. At halftime, they were down 37-27 but in the second half they fought back but not enough as they still ended up losing by six. Rasheer Fleming had a strong game putting up 19 points, 16 rebounds, and one assist. Xzayvier Brown also put up 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists. There were three different players that put up at least 10 points. 

Villanova vs Saint Joseph’s Prediction 

Villanova already has that one loss this season, but they aren’t going to be as bad here. In that game, the offense was still good but the defense let them down. I am not really sold on this Saint Joseph’s offense, and that is going to be the difference here. Villanova’s offense is going to have to have a balanced attack, and that is going to be the difference here, as Villanova is going to get the job done. Back Villanova against the spread here.
