Nevada Wolf Pack Betting Preview

Nevada kicked off their 2026 campaign with a matchup versus Western Kentucky. The Wolf Pack did well in that one, scoring in every quarter (with 14 points in three of them) during a 49-14 blowout victory. Carter Jones was 9-of-15 for 163 yards, two TDs and an interception in that one, and leading rusher Dominic Kelley had 11 carries for 152 yards and two scores.

In game two versus Montana State, the Wolf Pack were down by double-digits early, limping into the break with a 17-0 deficit. Nevada managed to find the end zone in the fourth quarter but still lost 20-7. AJ Blanco threw for 116 yards and a score on 12-of-20 while Kelley led the rush again with 84 yards from his 17 carries.

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Betting Preview

Over on the Middle Tennessee side, they took on Murray State in their opener this year. The Raiders were up 21-7 by halftime and cruised to an eventual victory 38-14 in the end. Nevada vs Middle Tennessee Prediction

I’ll go with Nevada I suppose, but in reality I’m not touching it. The Wolf Pack couldn’t stay with Montana State in their loss last weekend despite the Bobcats’ 13 penalties for 125 yards. Nevada mustered 349 total yards themselves but also had four turnovers and nine penalties for 86 yards. Without the mistakes, it could well have been a W. The Wolf Pack have a lot to improve upon here.

As for Middle Tennessee, they finished with 22 first downs and 352 yards (243 passing) in their tight loss versus Marshall. The Raiders went just 3-of-12 on third downs though, and couldn’t finish the game once they got the lead. Nevada is going to be another tricky matchup, but I could see Middle Tennessee getting in there.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Nevada Wolf Pack -6
