Coastal Carolina vs Delaware Prediction
I’ll stay with Delaware but I’m probably not touching it. The Hens shot themselves in the foot on offense quite a bit during the Vanderbilt game, posting two picks and an ugly 3-of-15 success rate on third-down tries. The defense held the Commodores to just 5-of-15 on third downs on the other side but it wasn’t enough to slow the bleeding. Delaware needs some spark on both sides of the ball right now.
As for Coastal Carolina, they beat up on a struggling Fordham team last weekend thanks to 460 yards (251 rushing) and 23 first downs. The defense notched four takeaways and gave up just 11 first downs with a 2-of-11 success rate on third downs. Delaware should serve as tougher competition—that is if the Hens play to their capabilities.
