We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Packers vs Broncos pick. We will examine the recent form and player performances for both teams, as well as the recent betting trends and streaks pertaining to this matchup. As we conclude, we will tie it all together with a summary that produces a sensible pick for a favorable betting outcome in this game.

Green Bay Packers Betting Preview

The Packers had an up-and-down campaign last year, however they still got into the postseason. Green Bay went just 9-7-1 overall in head coach Matt LaFleur’s seventh season, but the good news is that they also managed a non-losing record for the third year straight. The Pack also swept the rival Detroit Lions for the first time since 2020. That said, Green Bay found themselves in a Wild Card matchup on the road against the Chicago Bears, however they would lose 31-27 while blowing a 21-3 halftime lead.

Moving on to this season, the Packers recorded a 28-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their preseason opener last week. Green Bay was down by just five points heading into the fourth quarter but couldn’t find the end zone all evening. QB Kyle McCord was 12-of-16 for 102 yards, and Damien Martinez led the rush with eight totes for 20 yards. Isaiah Neyor added four grabs for 34 yards as well.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

Over on the Broncos’ side, they had a great regular season in 2025, riding a series of close wins to a 14-3 overall run (and tying a franchise record for victories in the process). Denver got a first-round bye in the playoffs and then took out the Buffalo Bills in a 33-30 thriller during the Divisional Round. In the AFC Championship versus the Patriots however, the Broncos’ season came to an end with a rough 10-7 defeat.

In their matchup last Friday versus the Atlanta Falcons, the Broncos jumped out to a 24-0 lead by halftime. Denver cruised the rest of the way in a 27-7 victory. QB Jarrett Stidham logged 131 yards and a score off 9-of-15 passing while Sam Ehlinger was 10-of-14 for 67 yards. Courtland Sutton bagged three catches for 60 yards.

      Packers vs Broncos Prediction

I’ll take a stab on the Pack but realistically I’m not touching it. Green Bay needs a big turnaround from their ugly exhibition loss versus the Steelers and I don’t know if they’ll get it. In that defeat the Packers logged just 160 total yards (97 passing), 2.7 yards per play, 17 first downs and 10 penalties. The defense gave up 385 yards and 25 first downs, with 313 of those yards coming through the air. The 6.0 yards per play allowed and zero turnovers didn’t help either.

As for Denver, they looked pretty good against the Falcons—outside of a lost fumble, eight penalties and a fairly rough 5-of-14 success rate on third downs. The defense kept Atlanta in check with just 59 rush yards, 3.2 yards per play and 11 first downs allowed. The Broncos should be very confident coming into this one, so you could make a good case for them.
