The Jets scored 10 points each in the 2nd and 4th quarter and that was enough for the victory. Andrew Peasley had a solid game completing 8 of his 11 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Adrian Martinez completed 6 of his 10 passes for 104 yards. Zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Braelon Allen had a strong game on the ground rushing six times for 54 yards. Panthers Looked Awful In First

The Panthers looked awful in the first game against the New England Patriots and they were defeated 17-3. The three points came in the 4th quarter but by that point it was too little too late. The Panthers defense really struggled to slow down Bailey Zappe, and the passing defense is going to be better. Jack Plummer and Jake Luton were under center for Carolina and they couldn’t find the end zone. Plumer completed 11 of his 21 passes for 86 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Luton completed 7 of his 9 passses for 38 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Mike Boone was the top rusher finishing with eight carries for 34 yards.

The Panthers offense struggled last season and in the first preseason game it was much of the same. Plummer and Luton aren’t going to be the answer for moving the ball and the Panthers are going to struggle again. Carolina might score more than three points here, but they aren’t going to score more than ten. The Jets offense is also going to struggle here, and this game is going to stay under the total.
