What Jokic has been able to do so far this season is truly remarkable. We’ve seen him record 30+ points in his last 4 outings. I don’t see him slowing down on Monday night against the Knicks. He’ll be matched up with Karl Anthony Towns who is having a great season himself but I’m not worried about him stopping the Joker on the defensive end. 

Michael Porter Jr. Under 6.5 Rebounds

Michael Porter Jr. has been averaging 7.1 rebounds per game. He has been consistent in his efforts on the glass, pulling down a solid mix of offensive and defensive boards. His rebounding is an important part of his game, with some standout performances, including grabbing 10 rebounds in a game against Memphis on November 19th and 11 rebounds against the Los Lakers on November 11th.

This is a good spot to sell high on Porter Jr’s rebounds. He’ll be matched up against the Knicks who’ve statistically been the best rebounding team in the league. They’re giving up 48.1 rebounds per game to opposing teams which is the fewest in the league. Jokic will get his share of rebounds and I just don’t think there will be enough to go around for Porter Jr. to get over this number of 6.5.

His assist numbers reflect his central role in the New York Knicks’ offense, as he’s been in more of a facilitator role this season.

We’ve seen Brunson get over this number of 7.5 assists in 4 straight games and in 3 of those games he recorded 10+ assists. He has a favorable matchup against the Nuggets who are giving up 28.9 assists per game to opposing teams which is the 2nd most in the league.
