Detroit Pistons vs Milwaukee Bucks Player Prop Picks 11/13/24

The Detroit Pistons will face the Milwaukee Bucks on November 13, 2024, at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The Bucks have struggled with consistency this season, sitting with a 3-8 record. Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to lead the charge with 31.6 points and 12.8 rebounds per game, while Damian Lillard’s performance will be key if he’s healthy.

Meanwhile, the Pistons have had a rocky start, sitting at 5-7. Cade Cunningham has been playing well, averaging 23.1 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.3 rebounds. On paper, this should be a matchup that Giannis dominates in the paint. The Pistons will need to limit turnovers and get solid contributions from Cunningham to compete.

Brook Lopez Under 5.5 Rebounds

Brook Lopez is averaging 4.6 rebounds per game for the 2024-25 season across 10 games. He has been on the court for about 30.5 minutes per game, contributing in terms of both defense and rebounding. His defensive rebounds make up the bulk of his total, with 3.5 defensive rebounds per game. He also grabs 1.1 offensive rebounds per game. These numbers a relatively low for a guy like Brook Lopez who spends most of his time in the paint.

In his last two games, we saw him have a 3 rebound performance against the Knicks and he only secured 1 rebound in his last game against the Celtics. I haven’t liked what I’ve seen from Brook Lopez on the glass this season and I’ll continue to fade him. He’ll have a tough matchup against Detroit who allows opposing teams 49.5 rebounds per game which is the 4th fewest in the league. I don’t see this being the game where Brook Lopez comes back to life on the glass. 

Cade Cunningham Over 23.5 Points

Cade Cunningham is having a strong 2024-25 season, showcasing his all-around game as a key player for the Detroit Pistons. As of mid-November, he is averaging 23.1 points per game. His shooting splits are solid, hitting 47.2% of his field goals, 35.0% from three, and 78.6% from the free-throw line. He also contributes significantly in other areas, grabbing 7.3 rebounds and dishing out 8.3 assists per game. 

He has several games where he notched over 20 points and I like him to have another big scoring night on Wednesday. One of the Buck’s downfalls this season has been their defense. They’re allowing 115.5 points per game to opposing teams which is well above the league average. Cade’s coming off a 26-point performance against the Rockets who have arguably one of the best defenses in the league. If he can have that production against the Rockets he should have no problem scoring over 23 points against this Bucks defense. 

Tim Hardaway Jr. Over 2.5 Three Pointers

Tim Hardaway Jr. is having a solid 2024-25 season with the Detroit Pistons, notably leading the team in three-pointers per game. He is averaging 3.1 three-pointers per game, with a shooting percentage of 48.3% from beyond the arc​. He’s been a nice addition to his Pistons team and has helped them develop a deep threat that they were lacking last season.

Through 11 games this season, we’ve seen Hardaway Jr. hit 3 or more shots from beyond the arc in 7 games. With that being said he’s failed to hit that mark in his last two only hitting 1 against the Hawks and 2 against the Rockets. This is a perfect spot to jump back on Tim Haradway’s threes. This Buck’s team has been awful guarding the three. They’re allowing 15.3 three-pointers per game to opposing teams which is the 2nd most in the whole league. I expect a big night from Hardaway from beyond the arc.
