Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic have been in a rut as they've lost five of their last eight games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after sneaking past the Nets in a 102-101 win on Sunday. Tristan da Silva led the team with 21 points and seven assists, Goga Bitadze added 19 points with 11 rebounds and five assists while Wendell Carter Jr chipped in with 13 points on six of nine shooting. As a team, the Magic shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 36 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and trailed by 21 points in the first half before they flipped the script and dominated the second half by 59-40 to steal the lead with just 1.1 seconds left on the clock to pull off the comeback victory.
Detroit Pistons
Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have been in decent shape as they've won five of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their three-game win streak halted by the Nuggets in a 134-121 road defeat on Saturday. Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham led the team with 17 points each, Malik Beasley added 14 points off the bench, while Jalen Duren chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Pistons shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 38 points in the first quarter to keep pace with the Nuggets in the first half, only to get completely blown away in the third quarter where they allowed 47 points to trail by as many as 25 points.

Orlando Magic vs Detroit Pistons Prediction
The Magic are still missing Moritz Wagner, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero, while the Pistons don't have a single player listed on the injury report. The Magic have been struggling lately as they've been hit hard by injuries, but they are coming into this meeting with some momentum after beating the Nets in an impressive comeback victory on Sunday. The Pistons were building some good momentum before they ran into the star-studded Nuggets in their last outing. You can make an argument for either side in this one, so while I'm tempted to take the Magic as the underdogs. I still think the Pistons can do just enough to get the win at home against this shorthanded Magic team.
